IPMS is a company established in the UK, serving the graphics industry worldwide.  We generate commercial photography, as well as being firmly committed to developing the aspirations of new photographers to become part of the industry.

IPMS was founded by Steven Thomas in 1989.  We are based in Newport, South Wales, home of many photography students on the world famous degree course in Documentary Photography held at a local university.  Although not connected with this course, we soon realised that vast numbers of excellent photographers existed who found it difficult to earn a living, both through college and afterwards in a high-level career.  We therefore made available the IPMS methods that have brought us phenomenal success.    Our series of powerful publications make it possible for photographers worldwide to earn a good living from their craft.
